This year Chibi Pa is getting an upgrade. Jason Bailey , head of ops for Chibi Pa , is here to tell us more.

Chibi Pa is big on unpredictability just look at the name .... theres no "con" at the end on top of which they add a new suffix to the name each year , this time being "Go" or "five" in Japanese.

Now Jason whats new ?

Let's see we are going to have %50 more chickens than last year. No I am
joking about that.

".......Al righty we are in a new hotel. Its the Airport Hilton. Its about 2
mile up Australian from the Hotel we were at last year. We chose this
hotel because all the meeting space is in one convenient floor. The
Party Floor has almost twice as many rooms. AND TONS of PARKING. Also
there are two sheriffs officers patroling the parking lot. Much more
secure."

sweet now theres some actual breathing room enough about the architecture more about the events!

"The big new hoopla about this year is we are proud to have Orange Anime
(www.orangeanime.com) providing an entire weekends worth of programing
in the Orange Anime room. Also we are bringing in a live Japanese sword
demonstration team from the midwest. And as a comedy special we are
having Musical Comedians Dave and Brian doing their act on Saturday.
Dave and Brian are best known for the Youtube video "Dork Anthem"."

because Chibi pa is traditionally held in the middle of summer , the weather in South Florida never agrees with the convention. lets pray the weather man is wrong this time eh?

"We are also working hard to try and get one of our big let downs from
past years to come to fruition. We have always tried to have an outside
Carnival area. But Chibi Pa is notorious for Rain. So we are renting a
big tent to put on the tennis courts. And we will have activities and
entertainment out in this tent. Also we will be doing the pool side rave
out here. Finally we will have a rave with Smoke machines and Lasers.

This year it will be easier to find everything. So we are very excited.
We hope everyone enjoys the show. Our team has been working hard to make
this another epic Chibi Pa year."
