Metrocon 2010 Impressions

Metrocon is less than 2 weeks away. Because this is our first time attending , we only have what the website and coordinators tell us what's going to happen. ITP: Metrocon First Impressions.

Metrocon is going to be situated in the heart of Tampa , FL where the waves are flat as a tire. In the Tampa Convention Center right on the waterfront which is in walking distance to hotels , restaurants nightclubs ... etc.  basically the place is 600,000 square feet of pure convention , that much i get.

Apparently there has been a slight last minute change of plans for one of the scheduled guests whom had to cancel due to reasons unknown.

Dear Doug Smith,

Maybe next time.

Love , Diego

P.S. no homo

I notice there is a title near the top of the page that says theme is Ninja Vs. Samurai (classic Red Vs. Blue scenario) I had no idea there was a dress code but then again thats what first came to mind. (I'd be a samurai)

Metrocon is prideful of their long tradition of the Human Chess Match show even going as far as creating a basic storylined movie to prime the audience before the show. in the videos we see familiar Final Fantasy characters act out a drama induced story.

yeah... I have no idea whats going on. but when i know , you know.
